After many signs putting this work on my path, it was Florian BOUCANSAUD's testimony on the Internet that pushed me to buy Volume 1. Moved by this reading, I then ordered the entire work of Maria VALTORTA.
I did not have a religious education and only found faith at the age of 45. I started catechism following my conversion but there were a significant number of concepts that I could not understand. This work has illuminated them with incredible power!!!! Our Lord Jesus Christ has become so close to me, that I feel like I have traveled with him, like an invisible apostle, following him everywhere through this story. And the figures of Joseph and Mary are presented so beautifully that I have since developed a great devotion to the Holy Family.
My God, what blessings received!!! Listing them would be too long... But I believe that the greatest grace that this work has allowed me to obtain is the love of others! As a beginner in faith, this question obviously arose: "Who is my neighbor?". I understood through Jesus' speeches that as the Creator, God is our Father to all of us, that He loves us all. And the Lord has made me grow in love, especially for the poorest among us, by leading me to meet the people on the street that I may come across, but also for the sick, by allowing me to be a hospitaler in Lourdes during the week of August 15th. I also want to point out this other important grace: apart from obedience to God, I finally understood the importance of obedience to the Church.

Via internet.
With Jesus Today, reading the Gospel and then that of Maria Valtorta expands my field of meditation. I go in spirit to the place and experience the events of Jesus' life with a lot of concreteness. I feel Jesus' love (his gaze) towards the characters. His pedagogy, his way of leading a soul to conversion (Mary Magdalene) educates me in charity, patience, forgiveness, giving, etc. I identify with a certain person (Suzanne), a certain situation... It's as if Jesus was speaking to me. These readings make me grow in love as Jesus conceives it. Mary's tears make me love her even more. How she suffered! This mix of joy of having her Son and the pain of understanding his path of redemption... The expression of her feelings... It's so beautiful! Touching beauty in this way fills my heart. I think about it all day long and try to understand what Jesus and Mary would do in my situations etc. They are with me day and night as well as the characters of the apostles, the women etc. This has changed my spiritual life...
Before, there was faith on one side, my life on the other. These texts, read and meditated upon, unify my spirit and my soul. I experience mass more intensely, I put into practice the advice of the Holy Virgin. I have more respect (thanksgiving, silence in the church) in my relationship with the Lord and I hold my tongue in conversations, asking Jesus what is appropriate. I am much more reserved so as not to slander and chatter needlessly. I consult my soul internally to know if I please the Lord or not and I correct myself accordingly. I understand better the horror of sin and its catastrophic dimension for my relationship with God. Because I often told myself "it's not serious!" I measure more the necessity to testify, to be courageous to affirm my faith, and I understand that the Lord counts on me. Ultimately, these texts guide me to grow in Love!
"Read and you will understand" like Pope XII!

A friend recommended me to read the Gospel as it was revealed to me.
This reading allowed me to deepen my faith, and to find in the teachings given by Christ a guideline for my life.
I have found joy and comfort in prayer and learned to practice meditation and heart-to-heart with God.
I am on my 5th rereading of this gospel, and each time it strengthens my faith a little more.

By a friend in 2012: he had the books of the Work at his place and I randomly opened them.
She made the Gospel very concrete by allowing me to "visualize" the life of Christ; if I could take a picture, I would say that I went from 2D to 3D.
Jesus and Maria Valtorta have been very gentle with me: I have gradually drawn closer to Christ (and Mary) by meditating much more on his life; I pray more frequently and more intensely because I visualize much better.
Do not hesitate to discover: one can start anywhere by reading a passage. And then... Christ will do the rest.

In search of spirituality, through the Marie de Nazareth website, I discovered the work of Maria Valtorta. I read the 10 volumes in just over a year and I have undertaken to read them again.
I am surprised that this work is not accepted by the Church. As far as I'm concerned, this work can only have 3 sources - the human - the devil - God For a human, it's impossible to conceive so many unprecedented and subsequently verified facts, especially under the conditions in which Maria Valtorta wrote. The devil, it could be him, but in this case the objective can only be to denigrate the Church, GOD However, after this reading, I feel closer to GOD, to the Church, to the Pope, leaving the third solution.
It helps me in the prayer of the rosary, in faith in the Church, respect for bishops, the Pope
You need to read volume 1, and volumes 9 and 10.

On the internet, a few years ago, it must have been on the Marie de Nazareth site, there was the text of the Gospel followed by the vision of Maria Valtorta.
We are used to placing the Magi in the crib for Epiphany, but in the Gospel of Saint Matthew, it is said: "...When they saw the star, they rejoiced with exceedingly great joy. They entered the house, they saw the child with Mary his mother; and, falling at his feet, they worshipped him...." There is no longer any question of a stable and a crib, but of a HOUSE, which corresponds to the vision of Maria Valtorta who also tells us that the child Jesus began to walk, which indicates the time of the journey between the moment the Magi see the star at the time of Christ's birth and the moment they arrive in Bethlehem. With this vision of Maria Valtorta, for me, everything becomes clear, logical and real. We can consider that the Magi took several months to arrive in Bethlehem and that St. Joseph and St. Mary had long since left the stable by their arrival.
I had faith and practiced before reading Maria Valtorta but her visions come to confirm, strengthen my faith and provide a beautiful insight on the Gospels.
I would tell him about the episode of the Magi's arrival as seen by Maria Valtorta, (which I have already done at the time of Christmas and Epiphany.)

It was my son who advised me and bought all the volumes of Maria Valtorta.
Reading the Volumes allowed me to better understand the Gospels, succinct out of necessity, the nomadic life of Jesus and his disciples during his ministry, the harassment of the Pharisees at each of his sermons which explains his condemnation and crucifixion. The account of Lazarus' resurrection is very explicit and very realistic.
Better understand the gospels and the detailed life of Jesus and his apostles.
To read the volumes.

I discovered this monumental work when I stumbled upon a rebroadcast of its adaptation for children by Radio Maria. I was looking for biographical data on my patron saint and on the child Mary, to whom I have a particular devotion, and volume 1 was perfectly timed to answer this quest.
The writings of Maria Valtorta shed new light on characters that the canonical Gospels mention little, such as Saint Joseph or even Mary herself. It confirms my intuitions, for example, that the resurrected Jesus could not have failed to first appear to his Holy Mother, as Saint John-Paul II also thought. I am a blind person and therefore feed especially on the psychology of the characters as described by Maria, I am thinking in particular of the two faces of John, son of Zebedee and beloved disciple of Jesus, or conversely, Judas who, despite being the object of so much attention due to his fragility, refused to take advantage of the immense graces that were offered to him, paragon of sinful human nature!
I have always loved and revered the Virgin Mary. I am also as convinced as one can be that I heard her one night in a dream, when I was still a teenager: "When I think that I am not loved and that I am the mother of the wicked." My ties with our Mother of Heaven loosened for a while after I met the father of my children. I had just returned to my roots, having been asked to become his goddaughter by an acquaintance who had just converted, when I discovered Maria Valtorta. Since then, her wonderful pages about Mary and Jesus have only nourished and strengthened this rediscovered relationship to my greatest joy. Now I know what Jesus means by "I give you my peace"!
If you found the catechism lessons of your childhood austere or sleep-inducing (I admit that this was my case in the religious school where I received my first education and the Word of God), reread the life of Jesus in the light of Maria Valtorta and you will see how easy it becomes to attach yourself, first to Him of course, but also to the Holy Family, to each of the apostles.

It was my father who started talking to me about it and then I got an issue of Christians Magazine that allowed me to better know the person of Maria. Then I bought volume 1.
I was a practitioner but I thought that all faith, God, and the Saints were very far from me. I did not understand what God could bring us. After reading, everything became clear, everything became easy to understand and above all, all the characters are like us! I understood why Jesus suffered for us and I now understand the meaning of the life of every human being.
Everything became clear to me. The meaning of mass, the Holy Sacrament, prayers, sacrifices, offering up one's sufferings, praying for others, loving one's enemies. I returned to regular confession and I adore before the very Holy Sacrament 2 to 3 times a week. I am kinder to people, more serene and full of hope about life after death. My view of life has completely changed in my life as a mother and wife too. Everything has changed for me and for the better!
I started reading with a lot of skepticism, telling myself: if it's "weird" I'll stop. And really everything is so beautiful and faithful to the Gospel! Start reading and you'll see... !!

Initially, thanks to our subscription to the monthly magazine "Christians Magazine". We bought the 10 volumes as well as the DVDs. And the books "Maria Valtorta who are you" by Jean Aulagnier, "The Valtorta Enigma - An Enlightened Life of Jesus" and others... On a daily basis, currently, thanks to the "Jesus Today" letter distributed by the website https://www.mariedenazareth.com
Thanks to Maria Valtorta, the infinite Love of Jesus and his mother Mary finally appeared real to me. No more doubt. We have our heart with them and also the apostles. For my part, initially, it was through areas of clarification of the gospels: The wedding with the water turned into wine, how the multiplication of the loaves could have actually occurred, the hard times of Mary and St Joseph at the Annunciation, etc...
The main lesson I take away and now live by is not to be of the world but in the world. Our life can be led in different ways. But the one we come to appreciate through these writings becomes simple, clear, bright, light, true, detached from attachments to any goods and the information with which we are daily inundated.
First and foremost, we discover together the "Maria Valtorta" video by Bruno PERRINET. Afterwards, if I know the person, I will already guide them towards the passages that I know they will not be able to remain indifferent to. And I ask them to subscribe to the daily letter "Jesus Today". From experience, I know that it is a "trap" because after a few days they become addicted to this story.
