Truth be told, I discovered the work of Maria Valtorta in 2020 following numerous prayers during the global crisis that we experienced that year. I was walking in a park and I was speaking inwardly to the Virgin Mary, telling her that the loneliness was quite heavy and that I would need people with whom to share my faith.
In fact, this work has nourished my love for Jesus Christ and all those who surrounded him, of course his mother The Virgin Mary whom I got to know more, as well as the apostles and the numerous miracles he performed during his earthly life.
I hadn't practiced for years and this reading encouraged me to return to practice and I discovered a traditional Catholic church that I have been attending since 2021. Reading the Gospel as it was revealed to me as well as the notebooks, I always feel like I'm sharing with Jesus and everyone he interacted with and I'm convinced that he accompanies us at every moment.
I would tell him that this work is not only of incomparable richness but that it allows us to better know and love Jesus. He will realize from the first pages how much this reading comes directly from God and that Maria was simply his spokesperson but what a spokesperson. I am infinitely grateful to her for this gift given to humanity in these troubled times.

I confess that I have not read all of Maria's work. I signed up on the site dedicated to her work and I receive the gospel* dictated to Maria every day. I confess that this has allowed me to deepen my faith, to understand certain Catholic practices and rites. I welcome the gospel drawn from her work every day as a light that dispels the darkness of my faith. (gospel) -> as a text that relates the life of Christ. To be distinguished from the canonical Gospels.
The main impact is the deepening of my faith and prayer life.

I discovered the work through friends who recommended it to me. First the ten volumes of "The Gospel as it was revealed to me", then the dictation notebooks, which gather the passages that made Jesus' teaching absolutely clear to me.
Upon reading the volumes of the Gospel, all of Jesus' surroundings become familiar, we become increasingly attached to the different characters who for the most part resemble us and ultimately live the same things as us. This makes the whole life of Jesus very current and his teaching becomes evident even two thousand years later. The notion of: "it's outdated", or: "we do not live like this and therefore cannot follow the commandments" crumbles! And we finally understand how much God loves us and guides us like a good father to welcome us one day in heaven. With these readings, what seemed arid and archaic becomes a series of proofs of love, and what for me was difficult to understand and put into practice becomes clear and therefore, makes me want to follow the commandments.
What impact? A real explosion of my previous life, in a good way of course! I hardly ever read the bible and now, every day starts with reading the Gospel, then the same passage, revealed to Maria Valtorta, then deepening with one of Jesus's dictations, sometimes from the Holy Virgin. I can't do without it to start my day! And this reading profoundly changes my day. It allows me to "stay in touch" with heaven, several times a day and regularly changes my behavior at different times or occasions of my day. Really, having finally understood so many things that were quite obscure before, the work of Maria Valtorta has changed me and continues to change me little by little into a better person. It's really as if a good parent was holding my hand all along the way.
Perhaps I would tell him what I wrote above, that is to say, that these writings greatly help to understand the message of Christ, to accept Him as a true friend and to discover how much He loves us. I would add how much these readings have transformed my life and made me happy.

Subscribed to Stella Maris, one day I read an excerpt from the work in one of the magazines that encouraged me to better know the entire work and so I bought all of Maria Valtorta's books online.
One gets the impression of truly seeing the scenes described, one understands the Gospels better. One really gets the impression of seeing Jesus before us and his Holy Mother. I have already reread the entire work several times, I never tire of it, it's so beautiful and interesting to know all of Jesus' life in detail!
I have devoted myself more diligently to prayer and have grown to love Jesus even more, as one can almost feel the presence of the protagonists and the emotions that animate the apostles and Jesus. I have better understood the meaning of many sacraments and their importance.
It is really worth reading, everything is well detailed and more complete. It helps us deepen our faith. It is truly a treasure to discover. You will not regret it, I am sure.

I first read Maria Valtorta's work around the age of 37. After a romantic breakup that left me depressed, fragile, and in search of truth, I turned to certain practices, healers, etc., of which I naively ignored the esoteric nature. I fell physically ill. It was during this time that my father suggested I read Maria's work, the 10 volumes of The Gospel as It Was Revealed to Me.
I already loved Jesus. But with The Gospel as it was revealed to me, I felt projected to his side, I became a witness to the Gospels that I had heard since my childhood. Reading this work gave me the delight of seeing Jesus live in his daily life, as if I were with him, and feeling all his tenderness and love. Through his pen, Jesus gives himself back to us. We are WITH him, we feel him cry, we see him forgive, especially Judas. Jesus, the Christ, gives himself back to us in a concrete way. Our sufferings take on a different meaning and this closeness with Jesus heals us internally. Reading this work leaves no room for theoretical interpretations that would alter the beauty of Jesus's face and the message of the Gospel.
Daily prayer has become an integral part of my life. I have better understood my wrongdoings. I returned to the sacrament of forgiveness. I procured the other writings of Maria Valtorta: the notebooks, the revelations. I became more interested in the lives of the Saints and mystics. In 2019, with my cousin and my sister, we organized and welcomed in the church of our region the arrival of Mr. Bruno Perrinet and Mr. Gino Filion who propagate Maria's work beyond the borders of Europe.
When this happens, I try to testify about the exceptional value of Maria Valtorta's work, the sacrifice of her life, and the miraculous aspect of her mission. I try to demonstrate what it has brought into my life and to gently say how sad it would be to deprive oneself of such a jewel of knowledge of the heart of our Lord Jesus.

I discovered the work during a meeting within our Parish where one of the community servants had presented the work of Maria Valtorta.
The very evening of the encounter, I set out in search of Maria Valtorta and stumbled upon the "Jesus Today" page. And that evening, the Gospel passage corresponded to the encounter between Jesus and Peter. And in this passage from "The Gospel as it was revealed to me," Peter asks Jesus what he wants and Jesus replies, "I want to be your Friend." When I read His response, I started to cry! For me, through this passage, Jesus personally asked me if I wanted to be his friend! It was a great source of joy for me.
Since that moment, I regularly read "The Gospel as It Has Been Revealed to Me" by Maria and since then, I have received many answers to my questions. I have become much more involved in my Parish as I take care of the young catechism students, the altar servers whose number is constantly increasing, and I have joined the parish choir. Day after day, I strive to live so that my Jesus is fulfilled. And recently, I have committed myself to the path of Confirmation.
May this work bring me many answers and comfort, for I am convinced that Jesus still and always evangelizes through Maria Valtorta.
