It's a constant wonder. These writings illuminate the Gospel and help me broaden my understanding and deepen my Faith.

My mother had been subscribed to the Stella Maris magazine since its inception, which I read with interest. That's where I learned about this work. I started with volume 9 which overwhelmed me. I then bought all the others. My mother did too. We talked about it together, sharing our wonder.
The too fragmented passages of the Gospel, poorly contextualized or misinterpreted, find a remarkable clarification with Maria Valtorta. The homilies, as beautiful as they may be, cannot compare to the teachings of Jesus. The explanations on certain points that did not seem clear to me have met all my expectations.
Jesus is both very close there, revealing himself as a living and real person and shining with the glory of the Son of God. The apostles, with their own character, their misunderstandings or their mistakes, encourage us to get up and continue to move forward. Finally, the life of Mary, her countless sufferings, her role as Co-Redemptrix have made me discover her more intimately and increased my love for her. Stronger prayer life, strengthened faith, more conscious participation in the sacraments.
Splendid work. Spiritual adventure, discovery of so many things. Everyone will find what they are looking for. It is difficult to talk about it properly. You must read this work!!

Jesus deeply dazzled and touched me. Such light shines in each of his words, each of his actions. My love for him has been rekindled. I am now convinced (despite what I unfortunately heard in my life) that the Gospel is reliable and true in all respects.

On the occasion of a pilgrimage to Medjugorje, the group often spoke of this mystic and my curiosity piqued, led me to the works of Maria Valtorta.
The impact was visible in the form of an emotion that made me cry every 2 pages (there are 6000 in the 10 volumes). I was overwhelmed (in the literal sense of the word) by the Love that emanated from these writings.
I started attending Church again without taking communion, and I would always cry during the latter. Without explanation, a great uncontrollable emotion. Then, after confession, I took communion again, still with these uncontrollable tears.
It is a Gift from Heaven on Earth. Everything exudes Holiness and these Writings are contagious with the Divine Love that is imbued in them. In a word: SUPERNATURAL.

I heard about it from a friend, after starting to read, all the novels seemed indigestible to me. I started to read, without stopping, I can no longer read anything else; I read a lot but nothing else has flavor, I believed what my education told me, to believe, nothing more.

My father, president of the association For Unity, lent me the ten volumes successively in the 80s, the reading of which served me as an evening prayer.
The Gospels have become very concrete. Mary has become a mother in everyday life. I better understood the role of Joseph and above all Jesus has become a brother, a guide and a real flesh-and-blood being with sorrows, pains, joys and daily satisfactions.
My faith has become concrete but two great moments transformed me: the explanation of our Father and Holy Thursday. And what to say about the Passion except that it is difficult to hold back tears. It is a precious support for the meditation of the rosary as we envision in spirit what Maria has reported to us. What daily joy to find an extract each day in "Jesus today".
That one should perhaps start reading it with the intermediate volumes because the first one might be a bit difficult to get passionate about. And even if Monsignor Lopez considered it a charming fictional story, Pope Francis had recommended reading it at the beginning of 2023 when no one could suspect him of loving the fantastic!
