Through the internet, I became interested in the lives of the saints as I was searching after many years without religious practice and I stumbled upon it, I would not say by chance, the Lord uses everything to bring us back to faith.
It's hard to explain. Reading put me in front of such a strong truth that I returned to faith, and some time after, to religious practice through prayer, weekday mass as well as Sunday.
- Daily prayer and weekday mass; - On Sunday: rosary, divine mercy and recently the seven sorrows; - Volunteer chaplain two mornings a week; - A better understanding of the disease and recently life in general.
Read and you will see.

Discovered through the internet or a friend (I can't remember), being passionate about mystics in general...
It's always the same, when we get to know, we understand and we love... with Maria Valtorta we are immersed in the daily life and the life of Our Lord Jesus Christ becomes full of good sense.
Maria Valtorta's work is a true enhancer of faith, it brings a deeper and more concrete meaning to the gospels, the parables that Our Lord Jesus Christ loves to use become full of truths and meaning... even though our priests enlighten us a lot during their homilies too!
Oh how numerous the objections are...! But holy works have always been attacked (it's a good sign) and paradoxically by our men of the Church, think of Saint Joan of Arc, Saint Padre Pio or Saint Louis-Marie Grignion de Monfort, Marthe Robin recently... Read... and then you can judge.

Mary of Nazareth: the texts of the day's mass followed by the visions received by Maria Valtorta on the gospel of the day and a deepening of faith: dictations from Christ to Maria.
I bought 3 volumes of the Writings and took ten months to read the one from 1943 (about 4 pages per day). Exceptional spiritual nourishment. These texts enlighten me on many questions I had: for example the link between love and suffering, the sin against the Spirit, the gift of the Eucharist, the struggle between Heaven and Satan, etc.
I have the feeling that Jesus himself instructs me, encourages me, enlightens me, strengthens me. What He says about his mother, the very Holy Virgin Mary makes me love and admire her more and more. Wanting to resemble her. Seeing her smile: it's one of my strongest wishes.
Read and judge for yourself. Nothing seems contrary to Catholicism to me. A very rich and beneficial read.

Through YouTube, I once saw some clips. I then downloaded these clips into the Vitmat application and I continue to listen, it helps me enormously.
Through the episodes that are not written in the Bible.
Change in my way of understanding the faith of our Church.
Let them try.

A patient who became a friend, gave me the first volume of "The Gospel as it was revealed to me", while I was on a spiritual quest following the global crisis, without having found until then, the support that met my expectations.
From the first ten pages, I was struck by a deep sense of truth, then nourished with the knowledge I lacked to better understand theological teaching and accept its dogmas. Finally, and above all, a teaching of Jesus to Judas about suicide, made me understand in an instant the whole story of my adult life and the reasons for the great trials to which I had been subjected.
The word of Christ has literally nourished me, enlightened my conscience, and I have seen myself a little more as I was, rather than as I had until then wanted to see myself. This "spiritual cleansing" opened my eyes, humbling my pride, and bringing me closer to God. I started praying daily for those around me, and for my enemies, which was new. I noticed changes, answers to my prayers. Since then, I go to mass every Sunday and receive the sacraments.
There is no need to hesitate, as this reading poses no spiritual risk. Either it will touch the reader, or the path for them will be different, but in all cases, it is better to read for oneself, to feel, to use one's discernment and thus form one's own opinion, rather than follow the advice of those who have not read it.

The daily reading of the Gospel on Hozanna proposes Maria Valtorta's text as a second reading. This very contemporary text illuminates the understanding of the Gospel. It feels as if Christ Himself is speaking to you and explaining. The emotion is profound.
Yes, Maria Valtorta opened a door for me to a deeper, more human faith and the Gospel seemed to come back to life.
A great help for my return to Sunday Mass and confession.
Read the 4 Gospels on Hosanna and whenever it's available, read the corresponding text in the Gospel as it was revealed to me by Maria Valtorta.

By chance, I had bought volume 9 (on the Passion). I was moved to tears seeing the sufferings of Jesus.
The text brought me so much that I wanted to know the entire work of Maria Valtorta.
Every day, I read "Jesus Today" in its entirety and I feel closer to Him. He accompanies me.
There is everything to gain.

In 2002, a priest gave my brother, and for my attention, volume 2 of The Gospel as It Was Revealed to Me. My husband and I were then leaving on an expatriation mission to northern Russia. Upon my return to France, in February 2006, when we were settling in Marseille, and I had just placed the book in our library, I read in "Pray in Church": "And what if for this Lent, you read a whole Gospel?". I opened volume 2, and from that moment I realized that it was a sacred reading. It took me 6 years to read 13 volumes. My faith has become a rock of love.
The scenes were becoming real, because coming from the country of the Volga plains, we were hiking in the rocky landscapes of the calanques of Marseille...I remember reading about the retreat imposed by Jesus on his apostles in the caves of the Judean mountain...and that Sunday when my husband and I crossed the karstic relief of Marseilleveyre. The realism of Maria Valtorta's descriptions, the delicate way of describing Jesus' tenderness fundamentally touched me.
My need to express my faith has become imperative. Therefore, I used my Facebook profile (Faith-book) for this purpose. My "spiritual steppe, where my religion was rather intellectual" before 2006 has become, through the reading of the Gospel As It was revealed to me, a source of life, of conviction that Jesus came to save us, despite the fragility of the characters of his apostles. What wonderful discoveries that were followed by graces of pilgrimages in France, Italy, Spain, Israel. My faith has become source and thirst.
I have distributed all the books countless times, as the Work has been imprinted in me... But I will only say what a Pope Pius (...) said about it: "Read and let people form their own opinion". I carry the love that I received in the visions of the life of Jesus and his holy family, like "a wounded bird", due to so many misunderstandings, and particularly from priests, bishops...

An article published by One Minute with Mary spoke about a certain mystic Maria Valtorta. I wanted to know more and I decided to read the 10 volumes from Christmas to Easter.
Finally, it's as if I wanted to know a Friend better...
I have decided to return to attending mass after 2 confessions where I cried a lot.
Let him not be afraid to want to know the Love of Jesus because everything is truth. That this reading is a true Film of the Life of Christ. That it's easy to read Moving.

During this period of Covid when I had more time to myself, I discovered the site JESUS TODAY... there, I heard about MARIA VALTORTA for the first time... From then on, it was an unparalleled joy to discover more about the Life and Work of JESUS... about MARY and her unparalleled tenderness for her son, but also her youth and this wonderful husband that was St JOSEPH... such endearing facts... I had the 10 volumes, plus the Notebooks given to me for my celebrations and birthdays, my husband was also delighted and read them all as well.
One truly feels that the Gospel we have always known is clearer, more precise, we discover the life and surroundings of JESUS by becoming even more attached to each of the characters. I cannot let a day go by without delving into the so captivating version of JESUS which tells us so much more and which is so sad to see the complications brought about for the general dissemination of his thought... MARIE cried about it...
I have always been a believer and practitioner, but I so wish that many more people were convinced of the importance of these EXTRAORDINARY messages of precision and infinite Love from GOD for each of his children. I pray even more and go to mass during the week. I have understood that the souls in Purgatory need prayers and masses. I read more testimonials and lives of Saints. I thank the Internet for allowing me these readings that uplift me morally.
I would tell people who are hesitant to start with number 1 and then, they will not be able to detach themselves from this fascinating work.
