By subscribing to Jesus today.
Jesus became a real, living character, who made me feel emotions of faith and love.
I have regained a taste for prayer. I have put Jesus before me, guiding me in all my actions.
It's rediscovering Jesus and Mary with added emotions. They become alive, so close, so real. My faith has been rekindled. I have regained the taste for reading the gospels.

I heard about it from a friend, after starting to read, all the novels seemed indigestible to me. I started to read, without stopping, I can no longer read anything else; I read a lot but nothing else has flavor, I believed what my education told me, to believe, nothing more.
I had lukewarm faith, learned in catechism. Jesus is alive, tangible, present, everything is as if illuminated, I never tire of reading the Gospel.
I pray as one speaks with friends.
Indispensable, one must read it, immerse oneself in it, life is changed by it.

My father, president of the association For Unity, lent me the ten volumes successively in the 80s, the reading of which served me as an evening prayer.
The Gospels have become very concrete. Mary has become a mother in everyday life. I better understood the role of Joseph and above all Jesus has become a brother, a guide and a real flesh-and-blood being with sorrows, pains, joys and daily satisfactions.
My faith has become concrete but two great moments transformed me: the explanation of our Father and Holy Thursday. And what to say about the Passion except that it is difficult to hold back tears. It is a precious support for the meditation of the rosary as we envision in spirit what Maria has reported to us. What daily joy to find an extract each day in "Jesus today".
That one should perhaps start reading it with the intermediate volumes because the first one might be a bit difficult to get passionate about. And even if Monsignor Lopez considered it a charming fictional story, Pope Francis had recommended reading it at the beginning of 2023 when no one could suspect him of loving the fantastic!

Thanks to the texts of Maria Valtorta, I perceive the people who surround Jesus as alive. I feel their emotions, the environment, the sensations, the expressions. This allowed me to immerse myself in the daily life of Jesus. I felt like I was with him, living with him, and that he was speaking to me. I felt included in the life of Jesus. I got to know a sensitive Jesus, loving his disciples, understanding the love he has for Mary, and also the love and patience he showed to Judas (the one who betrayed him). I loved Jesus a little more each time I read more of the texts. I wanted to understand the depth of Jesus, as if obsessed with the desire to know more about him, about his surroundings, about his way of acting. I accepted him as a true example, a gentle father and of a wisdom that deeply touches my heart.
Allowed me to take the blood of Christ and the sacrament more seriously. Indeed, the texts are very detailed about how Judas betrays Jesus and how he is insulted on the cross. It's so hard to hear that we realize the suffering of Jesus; the pain seems to be so intense that it becomes unbearable to listen to. But, strangely, the thirst to understand Christ gives us the strength to go all the way. I take more time to pray inwardly, because I understood that dialogues with God are very important. I respect Jesus, Mary, and others more, because I understand better what they went through. I understood that if I really wanted to follow Jesus, I had to trust him and love him at every moment.
Take a book by Maria Valtorta and ask God - Holy Spirit to give you the understanding to comprehend and keep the words of Maria Valtorta in your heart. Then, randomly open the book and start reading. If it touches you, continue.
In a youth session, they prayed over me invoking the Holy Spirit. I prayed on my knees before the Holy Sacrament. There were adults praying, and a woman had words of knowledge for me. She kept repeating "I love you, I love you, you are my beloved daughter", and at one point, she said that I was pouring out a particular fragrance. She also spoke, at one point, about light. I did not understand, as I did not know what the meaning was. The evening continued, as did the prayers. When I got home, I wanted to understand why, in the words of knowledge, they told me that I was pouring out a particular fragrance. I do not know the Bible well, let alone the details. So first, I search the Internet for "who, in the Bible, poured out perfume?". I see Mary of Bethany. I think that in the texts of Maria Valtorta, I could understand the meaning, because they are often detailed, even in the small gestures. I come across the site Valtorta.fr, on the passage The Anointing of Bethany. I read, and I understand: God wanted to make a connection with my conversion.

My sister introduced me to Maria Valtorta's books.
Thanks to his work, I have better understood and loved Jesus. Before this, Jesus was for me rather an abstract being.
I felt called by Jesus to speak about him to those around me, to better understand and to love my neighbor more.
This work is remarkable for its clarity and its frankness.

By a friend.
It's incredible, but I can no longer read anything other than the gospel that I read daily.
Everything to me is prayer, gratitude and adoration.
Read, there is a divine breath.

The work of God by Maria Valtorta helped me to convert further, since I read the volumes during my catechumenate, cradled in the depths of the Gospel, it allowed me to better understand the Holy Scripture. On each page, each chapter made me travel through time with joy and cheerfulness. Hand in hand with Jesus, Mary and Saint Joseph and then our brothers the apostles. In fact, I continue to read the Lord's teaching every day, accompanied by the reading of the day, which is why I highly recommend this reading that gives life.
This work, I cannot do without it, it nourishes my love for the Gospel and for the Lord Jesus Christ.
A true faith that leads me to devote myself to the Risen Christ.
I encourage you to read this work, it is the life of Jesus according to Scripture since it is Maria Valtorta's vision at every step of Jesus and Mary during three years of his public life and from the Nativity.

On the internet.
By making moving comments on the Gospels, never betraying the Holy Word.
Major impact. I cannot go a single day without his reflections on the Gospel of the day. Enlightening reflections that help to better understand the Scriptures.
I introduced her to my stepfather who was very moved by her writings. And I will probably introduce her to other faithful followers.
